Yorkshire Status: Uncommon and thinly distributed or restricted resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Porritt (1907) said of this species 'abundant, probably everywhere'. There are records from vice-counties 61 to 64. Although it may be under-recorded it has been reported only infrequently in recent years except in the southern half of VC63 where it occurs quite widely and is sometimes fairly common.
