Argus 47, 2001-2004: This moth has spread from its county stronghold in the Spurn area and is now regularly recorded in VC61 and less frequently in the eastern half of VC63.

Argus 50, 2005: The VC62 record is an indication of the continued northward spread of this attractive moth.

VC62. Haxby, 17.7.2005 (TJC). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 52, 2006: This moth is now widespread and sometimes occurs commonly in the south of the county and its range continues to expand northwards.

VC64. Tadcaster, 25.7.2006 (DBk); Headingley, Leeds, 25.7.2006 (JKB). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Current status (HEB, 2011): Spurn (VC61) saw the vanguard of this species in 1991, it was recorded regularly there subsequently but with little evidence of expansion until 1997 when the moth occurred further north in the same vice-county and also in the south of VC63. During the past decade it has become much more widely distributed but it remains scarce in the northern half of the county and there is currently no record from VC65.

Argus 87, 2019: First seen in Yorkshire in 1991; over the past twenty years it has become a common moth over most of the county and has now reached the far north-west.
