Yorkshire Status: Scarce and local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: First recorded in Yorkshire in 1975 it is evidently now well established in the extreme south of VC63.

Beaumont, 2002: Unlike most of the recently arrived species to the County this moth has not showed any real signs of extending its range, in fact it appears to be recorded less frequently than during the 1980s.

Argus 47, 2001-2004: This moth remains local in its traditional county localities in the south of VC63 but a record from VC65 represents a considerable northward increase in range.

VC65. Hutton Conyers, 16.5.2002 det. HEB (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 69, 2013:

VC61. North Ferriby, 21.6.2013 det. HEB (IM). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 87, 2019: Locally common in the extreme south of VC63 although seen rather less frequently during the past few years. Otherwise there are three records in VC61 and one in VC65; it remains unrecorded in VC62.
