Yorkshire Status: Unknown. No recent record.

Whereas most Monopis species are increasing in numbers, imella is bucking the trend, as it has not been seen in the county since 1997. It used to be rather local at various sites across Yorkshire, with the biggest numbers at West Melton and Spurn. It is more likely to be found in wild habitats than other members of the genus. The narrow yellow-ochreous line along the costa is characteristic.

Recorded in 8 (4%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1930.
Last Recorded in 1997.
