Yorkshire Status: Rare and very local resident.

Some records are of leaf-mines.

Beaumont, 2002: VC63. Potteric Carr, reared ex. mines on oak, August 1999, 9.7.2000; Rossington, 12.8.2000; Sprotborough Flash, 12.7.2000 (RIH). The first County records for over a hundred years. NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 81, 2017: Recorded quite widely in VC63; elsewhere there is only a single occurrence at York (vice-county unknown) in the mid-19th century.

VC62. Clifton Backies NR, mine on oak 13.8.2017 (GB). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 90, 2020: Occurs widely but locally in VC63 and with two records in VC62.

VC61. North Ferriby, mines on holm oak 14.12.2020 (ADN). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
