Yorkshire Status: Probably extinct. No recent record.

In 1860, Thomas Wilkinson writing in Theakston's Guide to Scarborough listed this species as "a common species on Castle Hill" (Scarborough). Our only other record is from Flamborough Head in Porritt's 1883 list, recorded by Rev E. Horton. This is a species of rocky coasts where the larvae feed on scurvygrass and rock cress. It is commoner to our north and west, and it would be a surprise it it were to be rediscovered in Yorkshire.

Recorded in 2 (1%) of 200 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1868.
Last Recorded in 1883.
