Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: VC62. Farndale, 24.4.1983 (MRB). VC63. Widely recorded and often common on the Pennine moors, also recorded at Wheatley Wood, Doncaster between 1891 and 1920 by HHC (Porritt, 1904; Beaumont, 1981a). VC64. Malham Tarn, three larvae in spun leaves of Vaccinium and Potentilla, July 1956 (Michaelis, 1963).

Argus 69, 2013: Flying early in the year this moth of open moorland is often under-recorded. VC65. Cronkley Fell, several 7.5.2013 (DWi, PSI et al.) NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
