Argus 47, 2001-04: The record below is the first in the county since the middle of the nineteenth century. VC65. High Batts NR, mines on buckthorn, 25.10.2003, moth reared (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 60, 2010:

VC63. Auckley Common, mine on buckthorn 21.11.2010 (SRS). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2013 (CHF): Very local in the county, the larvae mining buckthorn Rhamnus cathartica. The only recent records are from the Doncaster and Ripon areas. The mine is unmistakeable, making several hairpin turns with the loops almost touching each other but with a bit of uneaten leaf between. The corridor then widens a little. The coiled frass is green when the mine is fresh and this can make it difficult to see. It turns browner as it ages.

Argus 75, 2015: Scarce; previous recent records are from vice-counties 63 & 65.

VC61. North Cave wetlands, mine on buckthorn 11.8.2015 (JOHS). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 90, 2020: Occurs thinly across the county and is now found in all five vice-counties. Most frequent in VC63 while the records in VC62 date from the 19th century.

VC64. Staveley NR, mines on buckthorn 18.10.2020; Fairburn Ings NR, mines on buckthorn 28.10.2020 (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

VC65. Langthorne New Covert, mines on buckthorn 18.9.2020 (CHF).
