Argus 54, 2007: First recorded in Yorkshire in 2003, there have now been scattered records in vice-counties 61-64.

VC62. Stanley Houses, Stokesley, 2.7.2007 (Pwa). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

VC63. Rawmarsh, 13.6.2007 (ML). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Current status (HEB, 2011): This moth has a wide distribution in Britain but is always very local. It appears to have become more frequent in recent years, bringing the first Yorkshire record at Bishop Burton (VC61) in 2003. Further records followed at Rawmarsh (VC63) in 2007 and Stokesley (VC62) in 2007. It remains local and uncommon but should be looked for among apple trees elsewhere.
